How Analytics Tool collects and retains personal information from enquiries and technical analysis training enrolments in Australia.
Data controller
Analytics Tool, operating from 9 Cornish Street, Werribee, Victoria, is the controller of personal information collected through analytics-tool.digital and during programme delivery. Contact: [email protected], (03) 8577 5131.
Information we collect
- Identity and contact details you submit (name, email, phone if provided)
- Programme preferences, preferred dates, and messages about your chart experience
- Enrolment and payment references needed to administer bookings
- Limited technical data from essential cookies and, if accepted, analytics cookies (see our cookies page)
We do not ask for account passwords from brokers, tax file numbers, or full payment card numbers via this website.
Purpose and legal basis
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, confirm seats, deliver training, process refunds where applicable, and improve how we schedule sessions. We rely on your request for steps prior to a contract, contract performance, and legitimate interests in operating a teaching practice, alongside consent where required for optional analytics cookies.
Retention
Enquiry messages without a booking are typically retained up to twenty-four months. Enrolment records are kept for seven years for accounting and consumer-law purposes unless a longer period is required. You may ask us to delete enquiry data earlier where we have no legal need to keep it.
Sharing
We use email and, where needed, accounting providers who process information on our instructions. We do not sell personal information. Chart packs you submit for review are seen only by assigned instructors.
International transfers
If a processor stores data outside Australia, we take reasonable steps to ensure comparable protection, including contractual clauses where appropriate.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you may request access to, and correction of, personal information we hold about you. You may lodge a complaint with us first; if unresolved, with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Security
We limit access to enrolment files and use commercially reasonable safeguards. No method of transmission is perfectly secure; please avoid sending highly sensitive financial account details by email.
Updates
We may revise this policy and will post the updated text on this page.
