Programme
Trend Continuation Workshop
Our flagship two-day intensive covering pullback entries, bull and bear flags, and measured-move targets with risk written beside every trigger.
Who this workshop is for
Active share, index, or FX traders who already recognise basic trends but hesitate at the pause: is the pullback still constructive, or has the swing already broken? You should be comfortable reading candlestick charts and placing simple stop orders. Absolute beginners to charts are better served by a private primer session first.
What you take home
By the close of day two you will have a written continuation checklist covering:
- Swing structure that still supports the prior trend
- Depth and shape of an acceptable pullback or flag
- Volume behaviour you treat as confirmation versus warning
- Entry triggers you will actually wait for
- Invalidation levels and position sizing notes
You leave with marked sample sheets from ASX and overnight FX examples used in class — not a software licence.
What is included
- Two full teaching days with printed chart packs
- Live markup on the whiteboard and on shared printouts
- Small-group review of each participant’s pre-submitted chart (one market of your choice)
- Post-workshop office-hour call within fourteen days to answer follow-up questions on your checklist
What is excluded
Market calls, brokerage, signal alerts, or personal portfolio management. We teach how to read continuation structure; we do not place trades for you or recommend specific stocks.
Provider and approach
Sessions are led by Analytics Tool instructors who teach from annotated historical charts first, then move to recent session examples. We favour hand markup over indicator stacks so your rules remain readable under pressure.
Process
- Enquiry — tell us your markets and experience on the contact form.
- Seat confirmation — we hold a place once the deposit is received.
- Prep pack — one week before, you receive the reading list and a short markup exercise.
- Workshop days — structure in the morning, triggers and risk in the afternoon.
- Follow-up — scheduled office-hour call to refine your checklist.
Duration and location
Two consecutive days, typically Friday–Saturday or Saturday–Sunday, at our Werribee teaching room. Limited remote seats join by video with the same chart packs mailed or provided as PDFs in advance.
Preparation
Bring a notebook, a fine pen for chart markup, and one printed weekly chart of a market you already trade. Screens are welcome for note-taking; during live markup blocks we ask phones face-down.
Constraints
Seats are capped at ten so every participant gets board time. We do not guarantee trading results. Continuation patterns fail; part of the curriculum is recognising when the pause has become a reversal.
Fees
From AUD 1,450 per seat. A non-refundable deposit of AUD 300 secures the place; the balance is due seven days before the first session day. See Fees for current dates and any early-booking notes.
Next step
Enquire about a place or review upcoming sessions for confirmed dates.
